Since company’s foundation in November 2004, ROBOTOUS Inc. has been strived to achieve complete customer-satisfaction by researching and developing products to meet customer needs based on the best quality, performance, and service.

   The major product is the Motor Actuator that is a core component  for head control of the LTO(Linear Tape Open) equipments of IBM USA. These equipments are used to backup of middle and large scale computer’s data. The Motor Actuator is a part of the Gen#3, 4, and 5 Tape Storage Drives which are used to record and read data from tape media containing high density data track. It requires precision position control and high speed motion control for high-speed tracking function. We are doing our best to achieve higher quality and price-competitiveness and we are making effort to continue our business activities by establishing of precise production process that is based not only on precise component design but also on automation and image processing technology.

   From the moment of company foundation in November 2004, we participated in the development  of Motor Actuator which is used to control the head of LTO Gen#3 Tape Storage Drive and have erected mass production & supply system successfully. We have now stabilized our business foundation by accomplishing sole supply with IBM USA and by participating next-generation model development  with their continued attention and trust on us.

   Based on cutting-edge mechatronics technology that we have developed so far, we will attempt continuous growth and expansion of business and move forward step-by-step to become a faithful company contributing to society through R&D activities in robot and eco-friendly sectors. We will prepare for the new innovational era by changing initiatively ourselves and by doing every effort to improve competitiveness and stability.
